Hilton Flamingo timeshares offer a unique balance of vacation time and maintenance costs. If you’re considering buying a Hilton timeshare on the resale market you’ll be happy to know that when compared to other Hilton ownerships deeded to other properties in the HGVC network, the Hilton Flamingo has a considerable advantage. Not only is the initial purchase price much lower than many of the other properties (as little as $3,000.00 on resale), but the maintenance costs are rather low for the number of points allotted.
A Point Is A Point
When buying a Flamingo timeshare (regardless whether it’s at the presentation or the resale hilton flamingo listings on our site), you will still have access to the other point-based resorts in the club in Hilton’s reservation system (All the HGVC Resorts), but are restricted to booking 9 months or shorter in advance, whereas your “home-base” resort you can book 12 months out. In order to book 12 months in advance though, you have to book within your season as well as the room size you are deeded, so many times, you will be booking 9 months out or sooner. You will still have access to the great HGVC resorts through your points, so theoretically, you could never set foot in Las Vegas, but own a timeshare there.
Purchase Price
The initial purchase price can be very low on the resale market. Especially when comported to retail Hilton Flamingo prices. Although purchase prices may be severely discounted on other properties as well the Flamingo doesn’t require right of first refusal, and therefore theoretically can go for as little as a buyer is willing to accept. Whereas other properties could be bought back by Hilton if the price is too low. You won’t find them going for nothing though, because they are unique in that there is no right of first refusal, this property is sought-after and therefore has impeccably liquidity, should you find your self in need of divestment.

Maintenance Costs
As you can see when looking at the example listings above, when balancing purchase price, maintenance costs as well as number of points, the Flamingo is clearly one of the most economic properties to own, especially when buying your timeshare resale.
It may be obvious, but the majority of the timeshares we sell are the ownerships that are picked due balance of costs versus features. This doesn’t mean the week at the Hawaiian Village listed above isn’t worth every penny, but if you’re working with a budget, you can still own the best vacation ownership ever made.
